The top two teams in each flight will compete to become a LowCountry Tennis champion

* Long Sleeved Championship Dri Fit Shirts

LCTA Championship will be held after end of fall season and conclude by November 15th 2020.

Qualification Process:

Players must play one regular season match to qualify.

If there is 1 Flight in your Division:

The #1 and #2 Teams in the Flight will play for the Championship.

If there are 2 Flights in your Division:

The #1 Team from each Flight will play for the Championship.

There are several 3 Flight Divisions, and we will email qualifications to Captains separately.

Scheduling:

The Championships will not be in Tournament form.

The Championship matches will be played individually.

Where we can, we will adhere to the Fall Schedule. We realize some players overlap within age brackets and there are several Day and Night Flight matches that will have to be scheduled on the weekend(s).

Divisions with 1 Flight:

Example:

18+ 4.5 Women play on Fridays at 9:30AM.

At the end of the Season, your Championship match of the top two teams would occur on the following Friday at 9:30AM.

The match would be held at the #1 Team’s Home Court.

Divisions with 2 Flights who only play Days or only play Nights:

Your Championship match with the # 1 Team from each Flight would also occur the following week on your regular play day and time.

When there are 2 Flights, we will do a Blind Draw on Facebook live to determine which team will host the Championship match.

When there is a #1 Team from the Day and a # 1 Team from the Night – the match will be scheduled for the next weekend – Play will be at 9:30AM or 1:00PM on Saturday or Sunday.

Again, we will do a Blind Draw on Facebook live to determine which team will host the Championship match.

When there is a #1 Team from the Day and a #1 Team from Saturday/Sunday – the match will be scheduled for the next weekend – Play will be at 9:30AM or 1:00PM on Saturday or Sunday.

Again, we will do a Blind Draw on Facebook live to determine which team will host the Championship Match.

We will announce the schedule for the Championship Matches as teams qualify near or at the end of the season.

We will notify the facilities regarding the season being extended for the championship matches.

We will adhere to State Championship Regulations and Coordinators will be at the sites. Trophies and Prizes will be awarded Post Match.
