An Announcement from Bill Ennis

Upon reflection, and now with 10 years of service to the LowCountry Tennis Association, as Senior Women’s League Coordinator, President of the LowCountry Tennis Association Board of Directors, and LowCountry Tennis Association Executive Director, I have decided to fully retire from my duties as of March 31, 2026.

It has been my privilege to serve our LowCountry Tennis Community and will leave with joy and contentment as we have achieved significant milestones, in many areas, over the last decade. I have had the honor to work with many great community leaders, facility and recreational heads, volunteer coordinators, captains and players.

I look forward to spending my time with my growing family, finding my long lost backhand volley, coaching 8 and under youth soccer teams, along with my other volunteer efforts. I also want to thank my amazing wife Ruth – who has acted as a quiet engine of support for the LCTA during our time together.

The LCTA has a Strong and Dynamic Board of Directors – led by their excellent President – Andrea Weinstein and the Director of Adult Leagues – Nancy Pitcairn. The LCTA is in good hands – now and in the future.

After my departure, I will be on the sidelines, and rooting loudly for the continued success of one of the Great Tennis Leagues in the United States!

With Gratitude,

Bill Ennis
