LCTA BOD announces organizational change including new executive director

The LowCountry Tennis Association Board of Directors is pleased to announce that Bill Ennis has been named our first Executive Director.

As many of you know, Bill brings a wealth of experience in tennis leadership and a passion for advancing tennis in the Low Country. He will oversee day to day operations including working with Local League co-heads Nancy Pitcairn and Dee Mack. Additionally, he will oversee Finance, Advocacy, Marketing, Sponsorships, Increasing court capacity, and other operational duties.He will transition off the LCTA Board of Directors in July 2025. Please say congratulations when you see him on the courts.

We are also pleased to announce Andrea Weinstein, our long term Secretary of the Board and an attorney, will now lead the LCTA as Board President. Andrea, who just won the USTA South Carolina State Championship with her team, is a strong leader with significant organizational skills, along with a love of the game.

Along with this, Nancy Pitcairn, co-head of the LCTA Local League has been promoted to Executive Vice President of the Board, and DJ Barnhill has been promoted to Vice President to coincide with her duties as Treasurer. Please join us in congratulating all three members.

These organizational changes confirm the LCTA Board’s commitment to increase participation through positive experiences for our players and encourage tennis to be played at all levels.
